The SJWF Indoor Benchrest Airgun League (or SJWF IBAL) is an adult air rifle league that meets on Friday
evenings twice a week for 12 weeks. There are four leagues per year: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Dates of the Leagues and matches are noted on the SJWF Calendar. The matches are conducted in our
Indoor Range and start at 7:00 P.M. Currently, matches are held on the second and fourth Fridays of the
month. The inaugural match, however, will be held on March 29 th , 2024. The schedule will then follow
the normal 2 nd and 4 th Friday schedule. The League fee (which is optional) is $20.00 per league. The
match fee is $10.00 per match. League members are entitled to a $4.00 discount per match. We request
that competitors arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the match. Competitors may register for the League
and matches at Practiscore.com. Soon, competitors will be able to pay League and match fees online at
Practiscore. Until then, all fees are payable upon arrival at the matches.

Air rifles supported are .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm) calibers. There are two air rifle Divisions: Light
and Heavy. Light Rifles weigh up to 10.5 pounds which includes the sighting device and other
attachments. The Heavy division rifles weigh up to 15 pounds including sighting devices and other
attachments. Iron, telescopic, and other optics are supported. No laser projecting aiming devices are allowed. 
Bench rests allowed are two-piece rests that are not connected to each other. No one-piece rests. Front
rests may have elevation and windage adjustment mechanisms. Bipods may also be used. Rear rests, if
used, cannot contain windage and elevation mechanisms. They may have bags or “donuts” to adjust

Competitors compete with other competitors within the same Division and Sight categories. The League
matches consist of 40 single-shot bullseyes in 40 minutes. We use the Orion scoring system and Athena
electronic targets. Each match is worth 436 points. The points are used to determine the competitor
classification: Marksman, Sharpshooter, Expert, Distinguished Expert, Master.
