Equipment for the Airgun Leagues has been provided through grants received from the NRA Foundation.
The Airgun Leagues consist of two types, Air Rifle and Air Pistol. The Airgun Bullseye Leagues will be conducted indoors and will held year-round. The Airgun Silhouette Leagues will be held outdoors and will be held during Daylight Saving months. There is a possibility for participating in four different leagues. Sporter Air Rifle, Air Rifle Silhouette, Progressive Position Pistol and Air Pistol Silhouette.
The Youth Airgun League is recruiting shooters for the spring league. The league will begin on April 11th and will end on June 13th, 2022. The league will meet on Mondays. The participants should arrive at 6:30 P.M. at the San Juan Wildlife Federation club house and indoor range for setup. Match shooting will begin at 7 P.M. New shooters that have not attended all five hours of classroom instruction must attend the Airgun Operation and Safety course from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on April 11th before they will be allowed to shoot at the range. The remaining three hours of instruction will be conducted during the first hour of the next three Monday evenings and begins at 6:00 P.M. Download a printable sign-up sheet here. The Ranges Rules must be read and the Participant Indemnity and Release signed by the shooters' parent or guardian prior to the first meeting.
