The San Juan Wildlife Federation is a member of the United Multigun League (UML) of the United Shooting Sports Leagues (USSL). Come join us for our five stage 3-Gun matches the first Saturday of each month from March through November. Initial setup is the Friday before the match starting at 4:00 P.M. We complete the match setup on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. and begin the match at 9:00 A.M. We occasionally schedule long-range matches when the rifle ranges are available.
We have two firearms Categories, Centerfire and Rimfire, which are further divided into various firearm Divisions to accommodate most shooters desires. One may participate using all three guns (rifle, pistol, and shotgun) or just one gun (Pistol Caliber Rifle), and everything in between. See the rules for detailed information.
The minimum equipment for Centerfire is a semiautomatic rifle in .223 cal/5.56mm NATO, a semi-automatic pistol in 9mm or larger caliber, a pump or semi-automatic shotgun in 20 gauge or larger. You will also need a pistol belt, holster, gun bags or trolly for transporting between stages, and safety equipment.
The minimum equipment for Rimfire is similar to Centerfire with the exception that the rifle and pistol calibers are .22RF long rifle and shotgun gauge is a minimum of .410.
You can register for matches online at www.practiscore.com. You must register for a Practiscore account for the first time you register for a match. Thereafter, you can use your account to quickly logon to Practriscore. At the home page select "Upcoming Matches", then in "Search" box, search for "SJWF". Select the match you want to shoot. Fill in the required information on the registration page, select a squad you would like to shoot with and you are done. Pay the $20.00 five stage match fee online during registration or when you arrive at the match.
