Member Requirements
- The general membership meetings are held at the SJWF range facility on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm (The gate is open at 6:30pm if you want to come and complete paperwork). You can sign up online if you wish, it is not mandatory.
- Complete the membership application either in person or on-line and attend 1 membership meeting. Read and sign the Range Rules/Range Safety Briefing and Member Indemnity Release if you are filling out your paperwork at the range. If you joined on-line, you signed this paperwork electronically during the sign-up process. (See By Laws Appendix 7 of SJWF Operation and Procedure).
- Be accepted by a two-thirds vote at the General Membership meeting.
- If you join online, you can arrive around 7pm and let us know that you are there.
- The facility is located at 5652 US Highway 64 between eastern Farmington city limits and the San Juan County Fairgrounds (Sunray Casino) on the north side of the highway. The entrance is just west of the Sinclair gas station.
- For the first meeting what is due for payment is:
- NRA Member already with 1 yr membership $150 plus gate card deposit $25.00= $175.00.
- NON-NRA Member 1 yr membership $250 plus gate card deposit $25.00= $275.00
- If you are 75 and older- NRA member $125 plus gate card deposit $25.00 = $150.00.
- If you are 75 and older and not an NRA member 225.00 plus gate card deposit $25.00= $250.00.
7.Fee for joining the NRA
1 yr. NRA fee is $35.00 with 1 yr. membership ($150) and gate card deposit ($25)- Total amount due at membership meeting is $ 210.00
3 yr. NRA fee is $90.00 with 1 yr. membership ($150) and gate card deposit ($25) – Total amount due at membership meeting is $ $265.00
5 yr. NRA fee is $140.00 with 1yr. membership ($150) and gate card deposit ($25)- Total amount due at membership meeting is $315.00.
8. If you join online, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE NRA paperwork when you come to the meeting. You pay for the NRA when you signup online, but that doesn't sign you up for the NRA.
9. If you wish to join the NRA yourself, you can click the link below NRA Membership Join today. If you do this, you don't need to do any paperwork at the meeting.
