January 2002

Happy New Year

The Meeting: (December 18, 2001)

Bob Burress is not doing very well.  His throat is giving him trouble swallowing.  Keep up the prayers and the cards Ďn letters.

The treasurersí report stated that ď we are financially secure at the end of the year.Ē

We have meeting agendas by the sign in sheet before every meeting.  Feel free to pick up one and donít forget to sign in.

The Gun show committee reported that it is on track and table orders are rolling in.  We are looking forward to a great show.  We still need volunteers.  Call Leah to schedule a work shift.

We still need people to run for some of the club offices.  Please call Dick McGuire or Richard Moore to get more information.

Leroy Ransom is looking for someone with experience in 4 position shooting or air rifle for the Bloomfield ROTC.  If you are interested please call him at 632-3981.  These kids are really interested and are some of our future shooters.

Someone duplicated the keys for the range house and Myron Crockett is responsible for all of the keys.  Whoever duplicated them please call Myron at 632-9750 and let him know how many and to whom they went to.

Someone went into the range house on December 14 or 15 and upon leaving turned off the wrong breakers and left the bathroom doors open causing all of the water pipes to freeze.  Please shut the bathroom doors and donít turn off the breakers for the heaters.  There was some discussion about putting the breakers for the critical stuff on a separate locked panel.

The concealed carry instructors will be getting their insurance premium money back from the NRA. (When the Supreme Court put the Concealed Carry law on hold the instructors hadnít even taught one class.) It will be returned to the club treasury.  The instructors have done a lot of work on the classroom and it will be a great place for instruction of all kind.  Thank you Tom Bond for the new paint job!!

Our next meeting is Tuesday January 15, 2001 at 7:30pm.

If you have any announcements, please call Anna Kinney 564-3651, email: ptnopt@fisi.net or mail it to the Federation address: PO Box 1411, Farmington NM, 87499. What a Blast

The ACLU is good because it uncompromisingly defends certain parts of the Constitution, and the NRA is bad, because it defends other parts of the Constitution.
